The Office: Post-Superbowl Episode, “Stress Relief”

4 02 2009

When I found out there was going to be no Office episode last Thursday night, I was a litle more than upset. But the hour-long episode that premiered right after the Super Bowl on Sunday more than made up for it.

The Office, an Emmy-winning comedy, got the much sought after spot post-Super Bowl. More than 22 million viewers tuned in to watch the show, according to Hollywood Insider, landing the show in the number five spot for the week.

Some highlights from the show:

1. Angela threw her cat up into the ceiling.

2. Dwight’s fire prank–in its entirety.

3. I-pod Shuffle joke.

4. Jack Black-grandma faux-romance

5. Michael’s jokes about the Office characters at the end of the episode.

6. Dwight’s inability to apologize.
