This video is well worth the watch if your into college basketball. Gus Johnson is the voice of the NCAA March Madness to me. This remix of a Fort Minor song done a few years ago is phenomenal.
Just watch the video and tell me you don’t get pumped up when Johnson goes “We’re going to overtimeeee innnnn Lexington…. HAHA!”
With Gus Johnson now dropping his “MY NAME IS AL HARRINGTON AND I GET BUCKETS!” on more than one occasion, I think it’s time to give him the mantle of best announcer alive.
Gus is best known for his basketball skills, where he does Knicks games and NCAA Tournament games for CBS.
CBS also made him its lead announcer when the had a few MMA fights in 2008. This allowed us to get this gem from Gus… (go to about 2:20)
I’ll never get enough of his over the top antics. I would love for him to come to Stony Brook and do some intramural basketball games.
